Senior Eye Care

The health and vision of your eyes is always changing. Some of these changes can be normal,  others might be serious. Through regular eye exams, we can detect and correct eye health issues early before they turn into serious problems. One of the common problems with aging eyes is presbyopia, which  starts to occur around age 40. With presbyopia, you may have issues with focus and clarity that affect your vision.

You might also have dimmed vision, floaters, excessive tearing, color shifts, dry eyes, and several more conditions. We can provide treatment and help you with preventive care options. Apart from compromised vision, you may also suffer from eye-related diseases. Some of the most common eye diseases include glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.

Eye Exams

Before we look into prescribing a treatment plan, there needs to be a thorough eye exam to detect any ailments in your eyes. Our staff will guide you on how to prepare for your vision exam. Our doctor may need to dilate your eyes for the vision exam. The dilation opens up your pupils and allows the eye doctor to examine your eyes more thoroughly.

We also use optos technology, which allows us to get excellent views of the back of your eye without having to dilate you.

We will check for eye movement, pupil reactions, visual acuity, refraction, and more.
